Field Collected: Tom Mortimer Catalog No.: u1338 Notes: Galena is uncommon in New Hampshire pegmatites. This occurrence of galena in the Chandlers Mill pegmatite was confirmed by EDS analysis. This specimen is the one that was sent for analysis. The Uranium is an interesting trace element. The vertical markers are all Pb peaks. The sulfur and lead lines are very close and merge in this plot.

Micro quartz crystals, siderite, and a micro augelite crystal are also present on this 3.2 cm specimen.
